Happy BBQ Season From Underberg!

Memorial Day marks the beginning of summer! And the Fourth of July is right around the corner.

You know what that means: BBQs galore and delicious ice cold beverages are in store.

Whether you’re chowing down on big juicy burgers or delectable veggie burgers at the outset of what’s looking to be a beautiful sunny season, be sure to wash ‘em down with the essential bitter digestif. And whether you’re enjoying your favorite craft beer or non-alcoholic beer, cocktails or mocktails, Underberg’s got your back–or rather your stomach when it’s in need of soothing.

Ingredients for 4 portions

For the burger:

• 4 burger patties
• 4 burger buns
• 1 beef tomato
• ½ lettuce
• 1 red onion
• 80 g pickled cucumber slices
• 4 slices cheddar
• 4 tablespoons mayonnaise

For the BBQ sauce:

• 200 g ketchup
• 2 tbsp brown sugar
• 1 tsp cider vinegar
• 1 tbsp Worcester sauce
• 1 tsp paprika powder
• ½ tsp cayenne pepper
• 4 cl Underberg
• salt, pepper (to taste)

For the sweet potato fries:

• 3 sweet potatoes
• 1 tbsp cornflour 
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• salt (to taste)

Keep the cooler stocked with the good stuff! Also, keep your caps!
